Booking an assessment is simple. Click the button below to select the package that best suits your needs. Once we receive your request, we will get in touch with all the essential details, including required documentation and any relevant questionnaires or measures for you to complete online.

If you're unsure which package to choose, you can contact us to request an intake call.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your assessment. This deposit is non-refundable but will be applied toward your final invoice. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your appointment and can be paid via Halaxy or bank transfer.

No. Medicare mental health care plans do not apply to assessments. This means that we cannot accept mental health care plans for assessments. You may be able to claim your assessment under your private health insurance, please check with your insurer before booking your assessment.

Once the assessment is complete and all supporting information (e.g., questionnaires, documents) has been submitted, please allow up to three weeks for your comprehensive report to be finalised. It will be emailed to you in a formatted document. If you’d like a physical copy, we can send one via registered post for an additional fee. Just let us know!

You're also welcome to book a complimentary Telehealth follow-up session (30-60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the assessment) to go over your results and next steps.

Assessments do not need to be completed in a single session. You are welcome to discuss your preferences with us to tailor the process to your needs.

  • Testing must be conducted in person.
  • Consultations and interviews can be done in person or online.

Some documentation that you might be asked to share if you embark on assessment for yourself or your child.

No. If a diagnosis is not warranted, it will not be given.

All history and results are referenced against DSM-5 criteria. If the child/client meets criteria for a learning disorder (e.g., dyslexia), or another diagnosis (e.g., generalised anxiety disorder, ADHD), this will be stated in the report. The assessment identifies multiple issues, including comorbid conditions. However, if the client displays traits of a condition without meeting full criteria, this will be noted, and appropriate guidance and strategies will be provided.

Once an appointment is booked, that time is reserved for you. Please be mindful of the following:

  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.
  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can do so via the Halaxy link in your confirmation email.
  • Switching to Telehealth: If you cannot attend in person, you may contact us to request to switch to a Telehealth session (note: testing must be completed in person). A Telehealth link will be sent 10-15 minutes before your appointment.
  • No-show: A no-show occurs if a client is 20 minutes late or more to their scheduled session.

Late Re-scheduling, Late Cancellation & No-Show Policy:

  • For no-show, late cancellations or late rescheduling within 48 business hours / 2 business days (excluding weekends and ACT public holidays): 100% of the deposit will be forfeited.
  • However, if an unavoidable emergency comes up and you provide appropriate evidence, we’ll do our best to accommodate the situation. However, a portion of the fee may still be kept to cover costs related to holding the appointment time.

All outstanding payments must be cleared before the report is released.

Note: Payments processed via Halaxy will incur a transaction fee (1.9% + $1.00).
