The Holding Space Library

Welcome.

This space has been created to support you between therapy sessions. There is no expectation to complete everything here, and nothing in this space is a test or a task. You are invited to use what feels helpful, when it feels helpful, and to leave the rest.

How to Use This Space

This is not a course and it is not homework.
There is no “right” order and no expectation of progress.

Some clients visit briefly before a session.
Some return afterwards to help settle their system.
Others dip in only when something feels stirred up.

All of these are completely okay.

What You’ll Find Here

Inside this space, you’ll find a small number of carefully chosen resources, including:

  • Guidance on preparing for Online EMDR
  • Simple explanations of how the nervous system responds to stress and trauma
  • Gentle grounding and regulation practices
  • Optional reflections related to parts work
  • Information about what can feel normal between sessions and when to reach out

These resources are designed to support our work together, not replace it.

A Gentle Reminder

If anything you encounter here brings up strong feelings, you do not need to work through it on your own. You can pause, ground, and bring it into session when we meet.

We will always move at a pace that respects your system.

Where to Begin

If you’re new here, many clients choose to start with:

Preparing for Online EMDR

or

Grounding & Regulation Tools

You are also welcome to simply take a breath, orient to your surroundings, and return later.

This space is part of your therapy care at Holding Space Clinical Psychology Services. Please keep your login details private.

    • Audios
    • Psychoeducation
→ Mentioned as “available after booking” (felt care + exclusivity)

  1. Paid Orientation Session Page (optional, later)
    • 15–20 mins
    • Low commitment
    • Positioned as “fit + safety check”

  1. Blog Content (SEO Expansion)
    • “Does online EMDR work?”
    • “Is Telehealth trauma therapy effective?”
    • “EMDR for complex trauma online”

Resources (SUPPORTIVE, NON-CONVERTING)

This is where psychoeducation lives without pressure.

Menu label: Resources

Include:

  • EMDR psychoeducation
  • Preparation content
  • Client support material

You may later add:

  • Telehealth client portal (password protected)
  • Worksheets
  • Nervous system resources

welcome pack page

Phase 4 Expansion Areas

1️⃣ EMDR Hub Expansion (Primary SEO Engine)

This is where most Phase 4 growth happens.

A. Condition-Specific EMDR Pages

These live inside “Learn EMDR” or are cross-linked from “Is EMDR for Me?”

You do NOT need all at once. Start with 3–5.

High-yield Telehealth-friendly options:

  • EMDR for Anxiety
  • EMDR for Trauma and PTSD
  • EMDR for Complex Trauma
  • EMDR for Burnout and Healthcare Professionals
  • EMDR for Childhood Trauma (Adults)

Each page should:

  • Briefly explain the condition
  • Address “why EMDR may help”
  • Name limits and suitability
  • Gently funnel to Online EMDR at HSCPS

SEO win: “EMDR for anxiety Australia”, “online EMDR for trauma”

B. Concern-Based Pages (Client Language)

These are softer, more relational, and often convert better.

Examples:

  • EMDR for Overthinking and Rumination
  • EMDR for Emotional Flashbacks
  • EMDR for Shame and Self-Criticism
  • EMDR for Attachment Wounds

These can sit as:

  • Sub-pages under Is EMDR for Me?
  • Or be cross-linked from FAQs

They speak the client’s inner world, not diagnoses.

C. EMDR FAQs Expansion (Clustered, Not One Giant Page)

You already flagged FAQs as Phase 3.
Phase 4 expands them strategically.

Instead of one long FAQ page only, you can add:

  • Mini FAQ sections embedded on key pages
  • Optional standalone FAQ pages later

Examples:

  • “Can EMDR be done online?”
  • “What if I dissociate?”
  • “Do I have to talk about everything?”
  • “How long does EMDR take?”

Each answer internally links back to:

  • Learn EMDR
  • Is EMDR for Me
  • Online EMDR at HSCPS

3️⃣ Getting Started Page (Later Funnel Optimisation, But Seed Now)

You said we’ll refine this later, which is wise.
For Phase 4, just seed clarity.

Add:

  • A simple “Your Path to Online EMDR” section
    1. Learn about EMDR
    2. Consider fit and readiness
    3. Begin therapy online

This quietly mirrors your EMDR Hub structure and reinforces containment.

4️⃣ Fees Page (Subtle SEO + Regulation)

Phase 4 here is light-touch.

Consider adding:

  • Telehealth EMDR fees explicitly named
  • Short reassurance about value, pacing, and transparency
  • A line that links back to What to Expect in Online EMDR

This helps with:

  • “EMDR therapy cost Australia”
  • Reducing dropout before enquiry

Phase 4 Priority Order (Gentle + Strategic)

If you want a calm sequence:

  1. 3–5 condition-based EMDR pages
  2. Expand EMDR FAQs (Telehealth + safety-focused)
  3. Light tweaks to Getting Started + Fees

If you’d like, next we can:

  • Choose exactly which 3 EMDR pages to build first for SEO
  • Draft one condition-based EMDR page in your dream style
  • Map keywords → pages (very clinician-friendly, no marketing ick)

Online EMDR Therapy HSCPS: Optional Enhancements (Highly Recommended for Telehealth Conversion)

To further increase emotional presence and trust on this page, consider adding:

  1. A short embedded video (1–2 minutes) near the top
    • Calm, seated, direct-to-camera
    • “How I work with online EMDR and what you can expect”

  1. A gentle photo of your therapy space or you at your desk
    • Signals containment and professionalism
    • Reduces abstraction of Telehealth

  1. A downloadable or gated “Preparing for Online EMDR” guide
    • Builds commitment
    • Reinforces care before first contact

The holding space library

Yes. This is an excellent move.
A Telehealth-only, password-protected area does three quiet but powerful things at once:

  • Signals depth of care before therapy even begins
  • Increases commitment and follow-through
  • Creates a felt sense of being “held between sessions”

Below is a complete design blueprint for your Telehealth-only area, aligned with your EMDR Telehealth funnel, your clinical values, and SEO goals. This is written so you can hand it to a web designer or implement it gradually yourself.

Telehealth Client Space

(Working title – feel free to rename)

Suggested Names (choose one tone):

  • Holding Space Online (warm, relational)
  • Your Therapy Space (simple, client-centred)
  • Online EMDR Client Hub (clear, practical)
  • Between Sessions (emotionally evocative)

I recommend Holding Space Online for brand consistency.

1️⃣ Access Logic (Psychological Safety First)

Who gets access:

  • Confirmed Telehealth clients only
  • Provided after booking or first session
  • Access framed as support, not exclusivity

How it’s introduced:

“Between sessions, you’ll have access to a private online space with resources designed to support you before, during, and after EMDR.”

This avoids pressure or performance expectations.

Regulate first, orient second.
